Chinese top director Zhang Yimou's new film "Return" is going to hit the big screen in May. On March 19th, producers reveal an 85-second trailer of the film "Return" for the first time. Zhang Yimou's new Mou Girl is also exposed in the film's trailer. The Mou Girl attracts media's attention successfully.
The film "Return" deals with issues including the Cultural Revolution period of Chinese history. The film tells a story about a Chinese intellectual who is forced into marriage and goes to the United State later. After the intellectual returns to China, he is sent to a labor camp, which is quite common during Chinese Cultural Revolution period.
Zhang Yimou's newly appointed Mou Girl Zhang Huiwen becomes a highlight in the trailer. She is cast as the daughter of the intellectual. Zhang Huiwen was chosen from many '90s girls with dancing skills. This time, Zhang Huiwen starts to come into view with her first and maybe the most important film. In the film, Zhang acts without makeup and dressed simply with no ornamentations, in order to restore that period of Chinese history with great reality.
