"Fifty Shades of Grey" book author E.L. James recently hinted that production for "Fifty Shades Darker" will commence in the next couple of months.

Just recently, James posted a photo of herself with husband Niall Leanard and "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" director James Foley.

At that time, the power trio were at NBC Universal for a meeting.

James' photo was released just a few days after rumors that the filming for "Fifty Shades Darker" will be delayed again.

In an interview with E! News, producer Dana Brunetti said that they still haven't hired a casting director for the upcoming sequel.

With this, fans started speculating that the production and release date of "Fifty Shades Darker" will be moved to a later date.

However, it seems that everything is on the right track as of the moment. James' discussion with Leonard and Foley seemingly had something to do with exchanging their creative ideas for the movie.

In the past, James reportedly butt heads with "Fifty Shades of Grey" director Sam Taylor-Johnson because they didn't agree on a lot of things.

During an interview with Porter magazine, the 47-year-old said, "I'm not going to lie. We definitely fought, but they were creative fights and we would resolve them. We would have proper on-set barneys, and I'm not confrontational, but it was about finding a way between the two of us, satisfying her vision of what she'd written as well as my need to visualize this person on screen, but you know, we got there."

"Fifty Shades Darker" will still be released on Feb. 10, 2017.
