Steven Spielberg Speaks Highly of Chinese Director Zhang Yimou’s New Film

LOS ANGELES-at 10 a.m. on April 7th, famous Hollywood director Steven Spielberg watched Chinese Director Zhang Yimou's new film "Coming Home" in DreamWorks Studios inside of Universal Studios. During the movie showing in DreamWorks Studios, Spielberg wiped his tears with napkins. After watching the movie, Spielberg told Zhang Yimou that "Coming Home" is so "powerful". Spielberg was deeply moved by this movie and said it is so impressive. He spoke highly of the movie and said it is excellent. Spielberg added he cried for nearly an hour when watching the film. "Oh my god, it's like a different you! Still intimate! You know." Director Steven Spielberg said.

Later, Spielberg told Zhang Yimou: "The actor in leading role in the film is Chen Daoming, isn't it? I remember him. He used to work together with you. He is so amazing that I am deeply impressed by his performance. While Gong Li's performance in the movie is also beyond compare."

As for new Mou's Girl Zhang Huiwen in the film, Spielberg also spoke highly of her. He said Zhang Huiwen's performance is excellent and she is also a good dancer. Zhang Yimou told Spielberg this is the first time for Zhang Huiwen to act in a film. Spielberg describes "Coming Home" as a "deep and emotional" film.
