Just two weeks after experiencing a mini-stroke, "Dancing With The Stars" ex-contestant Kim Zolciak shocked the world when she revealed that she has a hole in her heart and will be undergoing a major surgery to correct the same.
The 37-year-old was speaking with ABC's "Good Morning America" when she revealed that she has suffered from the condition of open valve in heart since childhood. The stroke which she suffered admittedly happened due to a blood clot that travelled to the other side of her body because of the open valve.
Zolciak suffered a stroke after her Sept. 22 "DWTS" season 21 performance, after which she has to be hospitalized for two days. She declared that the stroke came as a blessing in disguise as the intensive medical test afterwards helped in uncovering the preexisting condition, though, she was suffering from chest pain and dizziness for years.
Zolciak's startling declaration comes amid rumors that she her mini stroke was caused by a Botox procedure she had done shortly before the show, E! News reported.
Meanwhile, the former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star sounded disappointed when she talked about her expulsion despite the rallying fans and 200,000-signatured petition.
"I was able to dance, I just couldn't fly," said the TV personality before adding that she could have something via satellite.
Meanwhile, reports emerged that the mother-of-six will be performing in the finale episode of "DWTS" season 21. The showrunners are planning to have her dance in several dances on the final show only if her cardiologist allows the same, TMZ reported.
