"Undateable" is set to go live from Season 3 and it is going to be improv, mess-ups and onstage recovery all the way for the stars. You can watch "Undateable" Season 3, Episode 1 online via live stream, here.
All the episodes of the new season of "Undateable" are going to be live. Brent Morin who plays Justin told Stltoday.com that it was Bob Greenblatt of NBC's idea to go live and find out if it will work or not.
Back in May, the live episode was aired and after that a complete season of live episodes for "Undateable" was ordered.
"I've never seen the NBC executives happier than after that episode," Morin said.
Morin also mentioned that performing the live episode "was one of the greatest nights" of his career. He added that "Undateable" is the show that can go live.
Morin stated that when they will go live they will "mess up." "That's probably what the audience will like best. The writers will throw us curve balls and we'll have to try to get out of whatever situation we find ourselves in. It's like improv - panic improve."
He also explained how they will mix social media and the live concept to build the fan base of "Undateable." "We might start a drinking game that the audience at home can join in. And besides the show itself, we'll have a live lounge on Periscope where people can watch us getting ready."
"Undateable" Season 3 premieres on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 on NBC at 8/7 c.
