Massive blaze at the TGI Friday's Restaurant

A massive blaze broke out in TGI Fridays restaurant in the basement of 604 Fifth Ave, between East 48th and 49th Streets on Friday 8:45 p.m. near Rockefeller Center. The flames are traveled up to the sixth story exhaust system and created a panic fire night along with dark billows. The blaze expected to occur from the kitchen and quickly ravaged to up.

The employees are trying to control the fire, while the dine customers are scrambled around when the fire broke out. The fire rescuers are trying to make the fire under control but, some of the neighbors gathered there took the photos and updated on some social Medias. It helps to spread the photographs everywhere. Anyway the firefighters are able to bring the fire under control around 11.30 pm without causing any serious causality.

"It was like a hell" said by an employee of the Friday, who dislikes reveal his name to the Medias.  Reportedly says that, 100 firefighters were on spot to beat back the fire from one side. The smoke could be seen even from so far, the report says.

People from Long Island city report about the smell of the blaze is like so near. Transit authorities rerouted the 11 line buses, an MTA official said to media.

According to the building records, the kitchens are situated in the basement and fourth floor, dining areas from the first to third floors, office in the fifth and the six floors.  Luxury retailers are in the Fifth Avenue.

Official Fire Department City of New York raised two alarms initially, but at 9.40 the fire was raised to three alarms and it was brought under control only after 11.30.

"It was crazy, we looked up and saw this black smoke", said by a customer who having the dinner on the ice skating rink.
