'Nanatsu No Taizai' is a manga written and illustrated by mangaka Nakaba Suzuki.

The anime "Seven Deadly Sins" also known as "Nanatsu no Taizai" in Japanese, has major  breakthroughs.

First off, the anime has been picked up by popular streaming service Netflix, as reported by Forbes.

"Netflix has scored its second exclusive anime TV series: 'The Seven Deadly Sins,' based on Japanese graphic novels that have sold more than 15 million copies," Forbes declared. "The company told Forbes it will announce the Nov. 1 launch of the series at New York Comic Con tomorrow. Phonetically known in Japan as 'Nanatsu no Taizai,' the animated show has previously not been made available outside that country."

While Netflix will be streaming the first season, the series is already slated to continue, as reported by When Will.net

"It has been reported that season 2 of 'Seven Deadly Sins' will be made and is slated for 2016 release. The announcement of a second season was made at the end of the most recent episode of 'Arslan Senki.' Let us remind you that season 1 of Seven Deadly Sins was released in Japan on October 5, 2014 and consisted of 24 episodes. It is not yet known how many episodes a second season will have."

The manga series is currently being released so there is more than enough material to cover a full 24 episode season. Some of the questions to be explored in the anime about the seven war heroes framed in an evil scheme were listed by When Will.

"Why did the King proclaim Elizabeth to be a princess if she's not really his daughter? Is Meliodas a demon? Why did Gilthunder end up on the side of his father's murderers? Who is the white goddess? Will Ban's sacred wish come true?"

All these are part of the reason why "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 will be one of the most anticipated series.
