Netherlands and Argentina finished regulation and extra time with no goals and penalty kicks decides who will face Germany in the finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The goalkeepers are on over-time as the goalies from both teams prepare to defend the goal post no matter what.

Sergio Romero, Agustin Orion and Mariano Andujar are the goalkeepers of Argentina while Jasper Cillessen, Michel Vorm and Tim Krul are the goalies of Netherlands.

Netherlands elect Cillessen to defend their post while Romero defends for Argentina.

First up is Ron Vlaar from Netherlands. He takes a shot to the left-side of the goalie but Romero was spot on and saves the ball.

Lionel Messi goes on next for Argentina and hits a goal against Cillessen who went the opposite way.

Arjen Robben kicks to the bottom right-hand corner but Romero dives the wrong way tying the game at one a piece.

Ezequiel Garay kicks hard on top of the goal leaving Cillessen no chance of saving the ball, Argentina up 2-1.

Romero is smoking as he saves another ball kicked by Dutchman Wesley Sneijder just to his right.

Sergio Aguero successfully kicked his ball past Cillissen's right placing Argentina within close range of the second finals berth 3-1.

Dirk Kuyt made his shot as Romero goes the wrong way 3-2.

Maxi Rodriguez goes up and if he makes a goal, it's all over for Netherlands. He strides, kicks the ball, Cillissen touched the ball but wasn't enough to deflect the shot as it glides into the net.

Argentina wins and faces Germany in the finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup at the Estadio do Maracana in Rio De Janeiro.

The 27-year-old Romero was the hero of the match as he saved two penalty kicks from Vlaar and Sneijder of the Netherlands, landing them a final encounter with the Germans after 24 years of absence.
