Justin Bieber might have thought that what he did was just fitting since it's the New York Fashion Week and he has already been flaunting his Calvin Klein boxers on his Instagram page. But then again, you cannot please everybody.
"Fashion Rocks" was this annual show but it stopped for six years and this is the comeback. It's a fundraising event featuring the top designers as well as live performances from artists.
Ryan Seacrest was the main host for that Wednesday night but Bieber together with Lara Stone was a surprise appearance to introduce the performer Rita Ora.
The fans both booed and cheered when Bieber came to the stage. Amid the noisy crowd, Bieber started talking to his co-presenter.
He said: "So, uh, I actually don't feel comfortable unless I'm in my Calvin's so ... is that cool?" To which Lara replied "Go on, darling."
Bieber then removed his shoes, his blue blazer and his jeans. When he was just in his black tank top and Calvin Klein boxers, he also removed his top showing his tattoo-covered bod.
Bieber then asked Lara if what he did made it better and Lara hesitantly answered it was great, in some way.
The 20-year-old star then introduced Rita Ora but stumbled through his lines. He repeatedly messed up some of the words and finally let Lara talk. The fans then cheered as they warmly welcomed Ora. To watch the whole video, click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03amC4VxVEQ.
After the event, the Biebs tweeted: "Good times tonight. Thanks for having me tonight#FashionRocks. #mycalvins :)." He also posted the video of his stripping and captioned it with a joke saying: "Grandma always said kill 'em with kindness...and then strip on live national tv. Lol."
Aside from Bieber, other notable performers also made it to the event including Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Miranda Lambert, and Nicki Minaj.
