Meanwhile, there is unofficial information with regards to the updates coming to "Clash of Clans". According to Android Origin, the game may have an upgrade at Level 11 Town Hall. Initially, players saw an update of Level 10 Town Hall in September.

Supercell will also add a Clan War tournament in which one clan will face another in a battle. The tournament will give an opportunity to the players to move notches in the tournament board. Much more is expected during the event since the game developer anticipates giving the wide fan-base a unique experience during the event and perhaps afterwards.

In an interview with Pocket Gamer, Supercell Community Manager Marika Appel said, "Our fanbase is certainly genuine, and very, very dedicated. The reception of "Clash of Clans" has continued to surprise us since its launch three years ago and we think it absolutely shows that the lines between 'casual' and 'core' are not as clear as people once thought they were."

The publication also speculated that Supercell may upgrade Barbarians to Level 8.

When the game developer launched the summer 2015 update, many features were added to the mobile game. The updates included level 5 dragon that is available with Town Hall Level 10 gamers. The Level 5 dragon costs 8 million gold/elixir, and calls for an updated Laboratory.

Fortunately, the cost for Level 4 dragon has been cut down to 6 million elixir without necessarily having to update the Laboratory.

For the balance of the gameplay, Lighting Spells can no longer destroy elixir storage to steal the loot. However, the spell can still serve to eliminate enemy troops and resource collectors. Initially, the Lightning Spell enabled gamers to kill troops and destroy storage areas to steal the loot.
