The game developer of the crowd-funded project "Star Citizen" had revealed a 20-minute video of the project in its annual convention this year.
Developer Cloud Imperium Games presented the video of the Kickstarter-funded project to the latest CitizenCon 2015 participants.
According to HardcoreGamer, "Star Citizen" is about to reach the goal of $100 million as the creator Chris Rovert.
As the "Star Citizen" goals to create a realistic space experience, the project becomes the most successful crowd-funded project of all time, according to HardcoreGamer. Moreover, it can be noted that the project has raised more than $72 million from the backers.
As the money is pledged to directly go to the development of "Star Citizen," the scope of the project is based on the support as provided by its backers as noted in the stretch goals.
Vice president for marketing Sandi Gardiner delivers a speech at the CitizenCon 2015. According to GamersNexus, the studio becomes game industry's icon as it employs 270 staff in different location including Austin, Santa Monica and London among the places.
Meanwhile, "Star Citizen" features all-star cast, according to GameSpot. The actors include Gary Oldman, Mark Hamil, John Rhys-Davies, and Gillian Anderson.
"Star Citizen" is a game which will make you control your travel in the outer space. "[It] places you in the middle of a living, breathing science fiction universe populated with friends, enemies and the unknown," as described from the project's official site. "[Y]ou control your destiny as you inhabit a world with an unparalleled level of immersion."
