China’s 10 Highest Paying Jobs Revealed

Interpreters, engineers, actuaries, editors, accountants, customs specialists, logisticians, and medicine sellers and producers are currently earning the highest salary among all employees in China, Chinese recruitment website YJBYS revealed.

According to the recruitment website, only two-third of medical school graduates become doctors, while the rest get employed in the pharmaceutical industry either selling or producing medicines. Earning about 60,000 yuan each year, these professionals occupy the 10th spot in the high-earners list.

Earning 70,000 to 100,000 yuan each year, logisticians are in the 9th place. While online businesses are rapidly developing in China, logistics became in demand, and only 21 percent of those employed in the logistics industry turn out to have high education degree.

Placed at the 8th spot are environmental engineers, including landscape architects and garden designers, who both have 80,000 to 100,000 yuan annual salary. 

At the 7th spot are specialists in the documents relevant to cargoes shipped to the Customs in China. They earn 80,000 to 100,000 yuan each year.

Following at the 6th spot are certified public accountants with more than 100,000 yuan annual salary.

Chinese website editors who collect and integrate information from the internet are at the 5th spot. They earn 100,000 to 120,000 yuan yearly.

Actuaries, who receive 120,000 to 150,000 yuan annually, are at the 4th spot.

At the 3rd spot in the list are system integration engineers with 100,000 to 200,000 yuan annual salary.

As experts in software, programming and wireless project development, 3G technology engineers earn more than 200,000 yuan a year and the 2nd spot in the list.

Topping the list of the highest paying jobs in China are simultaneous interpreters who work in Chinese foreign trade. With their salary calculated to be approximately 4,000 to 8,000 yuan an hour, they can earn 300,000 to 400,000 yuan each year.
