Android Marshmallow Confirmed For Huawei P8, Mate S, Ascend Mate7, P8max, Ascend G7, G7 Plus, G8, Honor 7, Honor 7i, Honor 6 Plus,Honor 6, MediaPad X2, Honor 4X, and Honor 4C

Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 Update is rolling out for numerous Android One Devices.

Huawei has confirmed that P8Mate SAscend Mate7P8 MaxAscend G7, G7 Plus, G8Honor 7Honor 7iHonor 6 PlusHonor 6MediaPad X2Honor 4X, and Honor 4C will be getting the Android Marshmallow update.

It is expected that more Huawei devices will make it to this official list soon. This preliminary list comprises only of the devices, which have been released in China. Hence it is expected that Huawei will soon release a global official list of devices, which are getting Android Marshmallow soon.

According to GSM Arena, the company is planning to release the Android Marshmallow update in the next month. However, there may be a few delays hence most of the devices on this list are expected to get the update early next year.

Android Marshmallow comes packed with new features and updates. It brings the convenience of Android Pay to the users and the ease of paying for products with a single tap. Fingerprint authentication facility is also present in the update along with revamped permissions management.

Users can now select what permissions they want to impart to the apps instead of the earlier blanket permissions. Android Marshmallow also comes with the app standby and the doze features. It also brings the multi-window features into the device, though the future of this feature is slightly uncertain.

The clock widget has been completely redesigned for a whole new functional look, according to BGR.
