Some final rumors are for "X-Men Apocalypse" have emerged and it one of them suggests the demise of a major character.
Cinema Blend transcribed a Movie Report interview with director Bryan Singer
"Michael Fassbender did something so wonderful in this movie... We're at the end of the scene, and he asked me not to call cut and when the scene was over, he continued and did something that made me cry in the tent; I've never done that before," he said.
He added: "The head of my company grabbed a Kleenex. Simon Kinberg, the writer who has no emotions at all, actually became emotional. It was so beautiful, I've never seen an actor do this for me and [Fassbender] just too the scene to a whole 'nother level."
What type of scene could inspire such emotion? It must be noted that Magneto was instrumental in Apocalypse's rise to power, based on previous plot rumors. It was also mentioned that the film is "apocalyptic" in nature in terms of the magnitude of death and destruction.
Thus, it has been speculated that we may see the final appearance of Michael Fassbender as Magneto.
The possibility is that Magneto could die in the film, making a final heroic turnaround to sacrifice himself in order to defeat the powerful mutant.
However, Comic Book does remind us that in the movie portrayal, Magneto is romantically linked to Mystique, played by Jennifer Lawrence. It could also be possible that the heartbreaking scene is Magneto grieving Mystique's death, and Singer just did not mention J-Law anymore in the interview because that's giving out too many details.
We'll have to wait for May 27, 2016 to find out who dies, who lives and who cries.
