To all avid fans of "WWE 2k16," here's great news as its very first DLC is now nearing to accessibility especially that its release date is fast approaching.

"WWE 2K16" may be the best of the franchise so far in terms of graphics. As an entry that had been given the freedom of development on the next-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One, 2K has developed the title with a lot of stuff packed in one title.

However, that is not to say that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be suffering in return for better experience on next-gen hardware, Examiner reported in an exclusive interview with the developer. VP of Marketing for 2K Sports Chris Snyder revealed that in terms of graphics, the team was able to do more on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of "WWE 2K16."

The scanning in particular had been an exhaustive process. Not only did they aim to include a lot of WWE personas to make up the biggest roster of the game, but Snyder revealed that the process of scanning continues. On top of this, "WWE 2K16" is also looking at Create or Career, an online and offline gameplay and even a soundtrack.

Snyder admitted that, given the limitation of the PS3 and Xbox 360 hardware, there will be differences in the final product between next-gen and old-gen. The team included as many features as possible on the old-gen consoles, with the exception of the MyCareer.

"I don't think old-gen takes away from new-gen development and new-gen doesn't take away from old-gen development," said Snyder to the publication. "We do what we can on both, given our limitations with space on discs, hardware and development time."

Considering the time and effort that 2K Sports put in even in older consoles, "WWE 2K16" is looking to be an even better iteration for the franchise.

This is not to say that everything is going great for the title before its release. Just recently, the developer released a new trailer. The new clip appears to have included a character fashioned in the likeness of known gaming writer Dr. Tracksuit, also for his real name, Jeff Gerstmann, Polygon reported.

Gerstmann seems to have disliked his cameo appearance, stating that it was unwarranted and unwanted. He stated that he was not okay with being connected in that manner to a franchise he deemed as "terrible."

As of writing, 2K Sports has already taken down the video. Seen below, the previous cameo appearance of Dr. Tracksuit has been changed, though there are some videos that have clipped the cameo appearance despite the official video's takedown.
