Premier League 2015-2016: Stoke City vs Watford, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

| Oct 20, 2015 04:41 AM EDT

Stoke City winger Bojan Krkic (#27) celebrates with Joselu after scoring their first goal from the penalty spot against Swansea City.

Steadily rising squad Stoke City (3-3-3, 12 points) will look to extend its three-game winning run against struggling Watford FC (2-3-4, 10 points) at the Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent on October 24, Saturday as the 2015-2016 Premier League season continues.

The Potters have won their third straight game on Monday against a reeling Swansea City, 1-0, at the Liberty Stadium via a 4th-minute penalty conversion from winger Bojan Krkić, as reported by BBC Sport.

Mark Hughes side had been on a roll these past several weeks, drawing Leicester City in September then beating Bournemouth and Aston Villa in their next two games to complete a 10-point haul in the past month and move up to 11th place in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, the Hornets have not tasted victory in their last three games with two losses and one drawn match.

Quique Sánchez Flores' men were hammered by Arsene Wenger and his Gunners, 0-3, at the Vicarage Road last Saturday as the trio of Alexis Sánchez, Olivier Giroud, and Aaron Ramsey scored a goal each in the second half en route to the romp, as per SkySports.

The newly-promoted club was not able to answer Arsenal's quick three-goal attack in a span of 12 minutes to fall to 15th place in the league table.

Stoke will have the chance to further climb up the standings while Watford will get the opportunity to regroup and get back to their winning form in this match this weekend.

However, it looks like the Potters has the upperhand because of the momentum created by their winning streak.

The prediction is a 2-0 triumph for Stoke City.

Stoke City starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Butland; Cameron, Johnson, Wollscheid, Pieters; Arnautovic, Whelan; Adam, Shaqiri, Bojan; Joselu

Watford starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Gomes; Cathcart, Aké, Nyom, Prödl; Abdi, Capoue, Anya, Watson; Ighalo, Deeney
