Clash Of Clans (COC) Limited Time Halloween Update Is Here: How to Get It, What To Expect Plus What Clashers Have to Say About It

With the ClashCon Gaming Event just a few days away, there is increased excitement among fans about the updates that Supercell will add to the game. Latest rumors indicate that the game developer is planning for a major Halloween update to come to Clash of Clans (COC).

The special Halloween update will introduce a variety of changes and greatly alter the landscape of the game. In addition to changing the overall setting and theme of COC, the Halloween update will also introduce nighttime gameplay, according to Master Herald.

While the upcoming changes to the game appear exciting, it is important to look at how the updates will affect the gameplay.

At night, bases will be full of bright gems and torches for illumination, and there will be decoration of the visibility of the battlefield. However, it is likely that this update will potentially make the game more challenging than what fans already know.

COC is a unique game with some strong competitive components. This has been a major aspect of attraction for Supercell's title, drawing in many players precisely based on the notion that gamers can create complex strategies and experiment with different gameplay as they also enjoy a relatively non-involving experience.

However, a thing that has been slightly worrying to some fans is that the game has been receiving various new gameplay features lately, which might be a bit too fast for the general good of the title. Although it is good to keep expanding the possible gameplay choices actively, Supercell should be cautious that updates are done in a controlled manner to give players a chance to learn new tricks.

Furthermore, controlling the way updates come to the title will ensure that the overall skill of the game does not decline but continue growing. Adding too much content at a faster rate could eventually result into a game that feels bloated and too difficult to be enjoyable.

Luckily for fans that don't support the idea of nighttime associated with the Halloween update, the option will be switchable.

Apart from the updates that took place on Sept. 22, there have been rumors that Supercell will upgrade Level 11 Town Hall and level 8 Barbarians, according to Gotta Be Mobile. The game developer will incorporate a single player map, new quests and achievements, and a third hero apart from the King and Queen.

Supercell will also add a Clan War tournament in which one clan will face another in a battle. The tournament will give an opportunity to the players to move notches in the tournament board. Much more is expected during the event since the game developer anticipates giving the wide fan-base a unique experience during the event and perhaps afterwards.
