Bottom-dwelling team Las Palmas (1-5-2, 5 points) will face off with top five squad Villarreal (5-2-1, 16 points) at the Estadio Gran Canaria on October 25th, Sunday for a 2015-2016 La Liga season encounter.

Los Amarillos is currently on a three-game slide with losses to Barcelona and Eibar before their last game, which is an upsetting 0-4 defeat in the hands of middling club Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez last Sunday, via SkySports.

El Geta striker Stefan Šćepović scored a double in the match and was supported by a goal each from teammates Víctor Rodríguez and Pablo Sarabia.

Quique Setien's squad last won on September 23, a 2-0 decision over Sevilla.

El Submarino Amarillo is also coming off a loss to top contender Celta Vigo, 1-2, at the Estadio El Madrigal also last Sunday, as per BBC Sport.

The Celtics' midfielder Fabián Orellana opened the scoring at the 41st minute before Villarreal defender Eric Bailly was sent off six minutes later to give their opponents a one-man advantage.

Submarine attacking midfielder Denis Suárez managed to equalize the count at the 67th but Os Celestes winger Nolito found that back of the net right at full time with a right-foot long range strike from outside the box.

It was the second consecutive defeat for Marcelino's men after they managed to pull off a five-game winning run to temporarily take the league table's top spot.

The predicted result is a tough 1-0 bounce back win for Villarreal.

Las Palmas starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Varas; Simon, Aythami, Bigas, Garrido; Gomez, Mubarak; Aleman, Mesa, Viera; Araujo

Villarreal starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Areola; Mario, Jokic, Ruiz, Costa; Samu, Trigueros, Pina, Leiva; Baptistao, Soldado
