‘Metal Gear Online’ Fixes Bugs With Update Set For November Release

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is an open world action-adventure stealth game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami.

"Metal Gear Online" is the multiplayer component of the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." On its release, players reported numerous bugs that makes the game somewhat unbalanced. To fix these bugs, Konami announced that it will release a patch in November.

The announcement of the update was made on Konami's official website. The company said that the update will be released sometime in November and will be called patch 1.01, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.

Here are some of the changes the upcoming patch will bring:

Auto-matchmaking
-Players will now be matched with other players with similar level to their highest character level.
-The matchmaking algorithm will also less prioritize host with poor network connection.

Mission Adjustments
The game will end once all teammates are tranquilized or stunned in the Cloak and Dagger mode.

Character Ability Adjustments
-There will be an increase in overall movement speed.
-Mobility has been updated to allow faster travelling in between objects.
-Infiltrators' health and stamina were downgraded.
-Enforcers' health and stamina were upgraded.
-Scouts' health will increase.
-Scouts are now able to quickly mark targets while using binoculars.

Weapon Adjustments
-Machine Guns' firing sway will be reduced.
-When in first-person view, overall weapons sway will be reduced.
-Walker Gear's Gatling gun damage will be reduced.
-Walker Gears and Anti-Aircraft will take more damage from certain weapons.
-Weapon damage of some weapons are adjusted to balance the game.
-ISANDO RGL-220 damage value and ammo count will be significantly reduced.
-Reduce Max carry for Sleep Grenade, Stun Grenade, and E. Locator

CQC Adjustments
-CQC grab range reduced.
-CQC grab icons will be removed.
-CQC non-lethal damage will be reduced.
-One-hit CQC knockouts will be exclusive to Infiltrators with level 2 CQC Stealth+ skill or higher.

Konami said that it will provide additional and specific details about the update once the release date comes to a close.
