"The Evil Within" is one of the titles included in the PlayStation Store Halloween sale.

PlayStation fans can celebrate the Halloween season with new games discounted over at the PlayStation Store. As the company dubs it, this is the season where not only the ghosts can play, but also fans thanks to the huge savings lasting for the PS4, PS4 and PS Vita.

There are a lot of PS4 deals to choose from, and PS Plus members have the added bonus of additional discounts slashed off over the Halloween sales, PlayStation Blog reported. For the PS4, some of the games include "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture," "The Order: 1886," "Until Dawn," "The Evil Within," "Bloodborne," "Slender: The Arrival," "Wolfenstein: The New Order," "Dying Light," "Evolve," "The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season" and "Outlast."

Most of the titles exude the spooky, scary and thrilling Halloween feel, which will make playing the games an even better experience for the season. PS3 and PS Vita players need not feel left out, as there are other titles also discounted for Halloween.

Apart from the sale for games, Sony has also announced the official price cut for the PS4 in several areas. For North America, both the standard and the special editions of the PS4 bundles have already seen a price cut of $50. In Australia, it has also dropped by $70, WCCF Tech reported.

The latest price cut happened for the U.K. and Europe, where the 500GB PS4 now only costs £299.99 in the U.K. and €349.99 in Europe.

"We are delighted to deliver the PS4 system at its best-ever value just in time for the holiday season, making it more accessible to a broader audience in Europe," said Sony's president and CEO Jim Ryan in a press release quoted by the publication.

The combination of discounted games and marked down PS4 bundles make the holiday the best time to get a PS4. It is also a good preparation for those who are anticipating upcoming titles in 2016, the biggest of which is "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," which is a PS4 exclusive.
