Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may not get the update anytime soon. According to PC Tablet, as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was recently updated with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, so the Android Marshmallow update may be delayed for the device. It may get the update in 2016.

On the other hand, users who are anxious to try out Android Marshmallow are free to try the Android Marshmallow developer user preview which is available to be downloaded on Android's official website.

The OS update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will include support for the fingerprint sensor and solution to the Stage Fright 2.0 vulnerability, according to BGR.

The new Android Marshmallow update will also let the users decide what permissions they want to impart to the apps, instead of the earlier norm of blanket-permissions.

The new operating system update also helps to track the memory usage and see which app is hogging the memory. This helps to keep the memory in check and also to substanially increase the battery life of the device drastically.

The Stage Fright 2.0 malware is not sent in the device in a single MP3 file, which allows the hackers to attack the devices very easily. It is reported that the Android Marshmallow update will bring the new black theme for the Samsung devices.
