YouTube has announced their new service called YouTube Red, which will be officially launched on Oct. 28.

YouTube Red is a $9.99 monthly subscription that will include everything on YouTube without ads and variety of other content. Most important highlight of the service its ad-free playback and the ability to save anything that user want to a device for offline viewing.

YouTube Red will also encompass the YouTube Music formerly known as YouTube Music Key, and it will have it own dedicated app, and includes a full subscription to Google Play Music.

Google stated that YouTube Red works with Google Play Music and that if the users subscribe to it, they automatically get access to other. This suggests that current Google Play Music subscribers will get access to YouTube Red, which extends across devices and anywhere you sign into YouTube, according to Maximum PC

When watching videos, a Red subscription removes pre-roll, mid-roll, banner, search, homepage, and in-video text ads. In the YouTube app, when saving for offline, users will be able to adjust the maximum space to use, see how much space is being used, and the quality of the video being saved. The videos will remain offline for up to 30 days. The app also gives the ability to turn screen off and just continue hearing the audio only.

YouTube Red will also produce original content (YouTube Red Originals), including 10 new original shows such as videos from popular PewDiePie and CollegeHumor, Engadget reported. The content of the new Youtube service varies from full-length films and documentaries to episodic TV-style content. YouTube Red Originals will start rolling out to the service in 2016.

For now, at least, YouTube Red and YouTube Music will only be available in the United States. Members can try the service free for one month.
