The NBA season is about to start and more colorful storylines and trade rumors are evolving.

The Atlanta Hawks were a surprise team in the East displaying some of the best teamwork in the league under Coach Mike Budenholzer.

However, when a successful team falls short of the championship, some of the contributors may complain about their exposure.

Dennis Schroder may become one example of that. In an interview with German magazine Bild (h/t Sportando for the translation), he expressed his clear desire to start over Jeff Teague, who became an All-Star last season.

"My goal is to start as point guard" Schroder said. "If this doesn't happen, I will look for other opportunities. The Hawks are a great team, the city is nice and everything is perfect now. Teague? He was an All-Star and he helped me a lot. I must be patient and work hard and eventually I'll have my opportunities."

While there is no animosity towards Teague, he is standing in the way of the German guard's goal.

Enter the Utah Jazz whose starting point guard position was rendered vacant by Dante Exum's offseason injury. Fansite SLC Dunk rounded out point guards that could be viable in a trade and Schroder was one of those on the list.

Fans have made their choices with names like Darren Collison and George Hill, but with Schroder's declaration, he seems like an attractive and realistic option.

User 'nkeith' said: "Schroder, Exum, and Burke filling the PG role would be perfect I think. I think Schroder would be starter, Exum still learning but bringing the defense while working on his outside shooting, and Burke as the last reserve. I doubt Atlanta gives up Schroeder, although with the available cash and assets Utah will have on hand, I wouldn't say it's out of the question."

If the situation in Atlanta would not be rectified, the Jazz should assemble a package to acquire "Baby Rondo."
