Copies of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. 'Grand Theft Auto V' for the Microsoft Corp. Xbox 360 game system sit on display for sale at a GameStop Corp. store in Peru, Illinois, U.S., on Wednesday, March 26, 2014.

Latest rumors indicate that Rockstar could release a special GTA 5 Halloween DLC later this month. So far, as many as 13 new Halloween hoaxes have been reported in forums and YouTube videos.

GTA leaker funmw2 aka @TezFunz2 tweeted in-game messages that unveil a brand new "Slasher" Adversary Mode. From the tweet, the survival game mode is a lone Slasher having a shotgun who must kill the Hunted. The Hunted are only holding a flashlight and have to escape from the Slasher and survive.

After the time elapses, the Hunted are given shotguns to face the Slasher. While there is no official confirmation about the upcoming Halloween updates, there are high possibilities that more GTA 5 Halloween DLC rumors will hit rumor mills as October comes to an end, according to iDigital Times.

The most recent rumors that came out during the weekend concern an interesting image that reached GTA 5 tipster and YouTuber DomisLive. From previous reactions, fans have dismissed Dom for his apparent false information in the content released. However, the tipster recently gave a clarification that the details surrounding the GTA 5 Undead Nightmare DLC are false, Latin Times reported.

Furthermore, even recreational Rockstar fans would notice that the details are a fake because of the title "Undead Nightmare" captioning the image of the spiked bat. Indeed, Undead Nightmare was an extension to the amazing Red Dead Redemption title, and therefore, the name has nothing new for a GTA 5 DLC.

It would be fascinating if there was a special Halloween DLC, but it is surprising for Rockstar to launch two GTA 5 updates within a month. While there are a number of images shared about the Halloween masks, Rockstar has taken a fast move to put in place a hotfix that stops gamers from using the Halloween masks and vehicles.
