Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy scores against Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

West Bromwich Albion (4-4-2, 14 points) and Leicester City (5-1-4, 19 points) square off at the Hawthorns this Saturday to try to further move up the overall league table in a 2015-2016 Premier League encounter.

The Baggies barely escaped the tough challenge of Norwich City at the Carrow Road last week as they pulled off a 1-0 win over the newly-promoted team of manager Alex Neil, as per BBC Sport.

Venezuelan striker Salomón Rondón provided the lone goal for Tony Pulis' crew one minute into the second half with a header over the outstretched arms of Canaries goalkeeper John Ruddy from a nice cross by teammate James McClean.

It was West Brom's second straight victory to achieve their first winning streak of the season.

Meanwhile, Leicester nipped Crystal Palace, 1-0, at the King Power Stadium also last week with a 59th-minute goal from their resident striker Jamie Vardy, as reported by Sports Mole.

The 28-year-old English forward scored at least a goal in six straight games and he extended it to seven by providing the winner for Claudio Ranieri's squad.

The Foxes are currently in the fifth spot of the league table behind the top contenders and have avoided defeat in five of their last six matches.

Ranieri and his men will look to get in the mix of the contenders with a road win against West Brom this Saturday.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 victory for Leicester City.

West Brom starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Myhill; Evans, Brunt, McAuley, Dawson; Fletcher, McClean; Sessegnon, Yacob, Berahino; Rondón

Leicester City United starting lineup (4-4-1-1 formation): Schmeichel; Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Simpson; Kanté, Drinkwater, Schlupp, Albrighton; Vardy, Mahrez
