Supercell used the October 24 ClashCon as venue to reveal its planned Clash of Clans game expansions but stopped short of releasing anything. Sneak peeks of what to come are likely to be provided in the first week of November but the actual release date will not happen until November 16, a new report said.
Clashers will need to wait at least 10 days following the Supercell announcement of the upcoming updates at ClashCon, Gotta Be Mobile said in a new report, basing its information from the calculations made by ChiefPat. The report described ChiefPat as one of the well-known Clash of Clans YouTubers.
It appears that the plan points to an update rollout that will commence on November 16. The timing, ChiefPat said, is perfect so developers will be readily available in the event the content upgrades will contain bugs. As GBM said, the third Monday of November release will allow the dispatch of easy fix should the need arises.
And what will arrive is definitely a game-changer but Supercell representative Anoushka was quick to clarify that Level 11 Town Hall, for instance, will deliver changers that will impact on COC players differently, Touch Arcade reported. That means the gameplay experience will vary for each player come the TH11 touchdown.
Anoushka also explained that there was so much hype surrounding the ClashCon last month - that the event will unpack the COC updates and that the expansion will redefine the Clash of Clans. As it turned out, there were no updates produced last October 24 and most of the rumors generated by the event proved inaccurate.
Among them is the suggestion that teasers of the COC updates will be outed right after the ClashCon but as GBM has reported the sneak peeks should be seen first November 2 at the earliest.
Then there's the talks that a third Hero will soon join the Barbarian King and the Archer Queen and that this new COC main character will boast of the requested ability to be available for war while in the process of upgrading. This hero add-on is said to a Wizard or a Warlock.
Yet at best, all the details on new Hero can only be regarded as the moment as rumors, GBM said on its report.
Anoushka, however, gave the assurance that Supercell is "working hard to release (the Clash of Clans update) as soon as possible," though the developer, Touch Arcade said, did not give an estimated time of arrival or ETA for the upcoming COC upgrade.
