There are rumors that "Game of Thrones" Season 6 air-date has been postponed in order to accommodate the release of the much-anticipated book 'Winds of Winter."

According to News, "Game of Thrones" Season 6 may start around May.

On the other hand, the much-anticipated book "Winds of Winter" has already been facing a major delay in its release date. The author of the book series, George R R Martin is also not revealing much about the book. However, if the latest rumors are to be believed, the book may hit the stand early next year.

Earlier this year, Martin told the press that due to his prior commitments, he was not able to finish the "Winds of Winter." However, he did leave all these things entirely for a while in order to work towards the completion of this book. He also canceled public appearances in order to focus on completing the book.

The fans should not be fully disheartened. Amazon is all set to announce and release the "Game of Thrones" coloring book on their website. The fans can make do with this goodie till they get some solid news regarding the release date of "Winds of Winter".

Meanwhile the "Game of Thrones" 6th Season is expected to air on HBO in May, 2016, according to Huffington Post. The entire world is hoping that the sixth book in the series "A Song of Fire and Ice" will be released before the sixth season of "Game of Thrones." This will not only make sense, but will be good for both the show and the book profit wise.

It was earlier rumored according to a Polish publishing/translating company that they are working on the book's translation. This could imply that the book may be put up for pre orders before the end of this year.
