Samsung, along with Tizen and Intel, developed a new operating system which was launched in the year 2012; however, the very first mobile device to employ this operating system was out only in January, and the mobile device Samsung Z1 were not well received.

After 6 months since the first release, Samsung has now come up with an upgraded model with the same operating system. The device falls in to the Z series category and Z3 is the recent release.

The first Tizen powered phone was thicker, although it weighed lesser compared to other Samsung models. The sides were protected with metal frame and its back side was made of plastic in three different colors such as White, Wine red and Black. But Samsung Z3 has come out with a bigger body and an interesting design. The sides are curvier, letting the phone look slimmer and weighs around 137 grams.

Samsung Z1 processor had two cores and the internal storage was limited to 4GB, which is low compared to other Samsung models. Although the processor specification for Z3 is not out yet, it is believed that Z3 might run on four processors. The internal and expandable memory is doubled than that of Samsung Z1.

The Z3 cost around $130 and comes with an 8MP rear camera, along with LED flash and 5Mp front camera. Compared to Z1 that had a battery capacity of 1500 mAh, Z3 comes with a capacity of 2600mAh, which means that the battery capacity of Z3 is higher compared to that of its previous model.
