Apple has come up with iPad Air 2, while Samsung have brought out Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7".

Apple or Samsung are the only product choice when it comes to gadget lovers as both the tech giants are competing once again in market with their latest release. Apple has come up with iPad Air 2, while Samsung have brought out Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7". Although they seem similar in their look and touch, they differ in terms of their functionalities and operating system.

Apple iPad 2 makes use of their latest 9.0.2 OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" uses 5.1.1 Lollipop, which is one of the most recent OS for Android but definitely not the latest. Also, both share a similar size with iPad Air 2 coming out in 9.3x6.7x.22 while Samsung Galaxy 9.7" shares a mild variation of 9.4x6.6x.24. Samsung tablet seems to be slimmer, but Apple provides a sturdier approach to its tablet.

Apple's iPad Air 2 is available in gold, silver and grey casing, while Samsung provides its users with black, white and gold cases. In terms of camera, both tablets share similar structure with their 8MP rear camera that helps in providing high quality photos.

According to a report by Anandtech, the random access memory capacity of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch is 3GB RAM with an expandable memory up of to 64 GB. It employs octa-core processor and provides easy option for battery saving. Meanwhile, Apple iPad 2 operates on a tri-core 64 bit processor and offers expandable memory storage of up to 128GB. Taking into consideration all of the above features, it would not be wrong to suggest that both tablets are priced just right with their features.
