Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon is set for Android 6.0 Marshmallow test. This device is presently under development from the manufacturer and is expected to arrive by November.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is scheduled to undergo Android 6.0 M software testing, Verizon recently revealed through a post on their page. While an official statement is yet to be released directly by the wireless retailer regarding the update, the site has published posts regarding the testing process that the device will go through, as well as a certification process to guarantee the use of the best quality software.

Following Samsung Galaxy S5 completion of the development and testing phases come the much awaited official release. As of now, an exact date has not been scheduled as it will be dependent on the mobile carrier.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to feature big changes in the device's apps and system, Android Pit reported. It will reportedly come with an easier cut, copy and paste selection, as well as other minor improvements that promise to bring added convenience to the user.

In addition, Chrome browser will also be upgraded. Users can finally cease to worry about getting kicked out of an app when loading slowly because Google has developed Custom Tabs for Chrome.

Samsung Galaxy presently runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is set to roll out an update of Android 6.0 Marshmallow early next year. This update will come with a build number SM-G900V, Neurogadget reported. Meanwhile, the mobile carrier has not yet confirmed as to when they will release the last Lollipop update.
