The Washington Redskins (3-4) are fresh from a bye week and they will travel to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on Sunday, November 8 for a 2015 NFL season Week 9 encounter with defending Super Bowl champions New England Patriots (7-0) who has yet to suffer a loss this season.
Washington rallied in the final quarter to nip the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-30, during their Week 7 affair at the FedEx Field to bounce back from a two-game skid, as reported by ESPN.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins' third touchdown pass of the second half allowed the Redskins to steal the game away from the Bucs, who led 24-0 in the second quarter before Washington made their improbable run.
Meanwhile, Tom Brady and the Patriots continue to dominate their opponents as they thrashed the Miami Dolphins, 36-7, during their Thursday night affair at the Gillette Stadium in Week 8, as per CBS Sports.
Brady threw four touchdowns and passing 26-of-38 for 356 yards with no interceptions and two sacks en route to the blowout win.
The Patriots are expected to walk over Cousins and the Redskins in their matchup as New England is comfortable at home and they are clearly the much superior team.
Prediction: Patriots win, 42-21.
