'GI Joe' Couple Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas End 5-Month Relationship

Victoria's Secret model Gigi Hadid was Joe Jonas' former girlfriend.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid and DNCE frontman Joe Jonas have decided to peacefully part ways on Nov. 4, Wednesday, due to their hectic schedules.

Their individual responsibilities were time-consuming that they had to settle for a decent, anticlimactic breakup, according to People. An unidentified source also told the magazine that Jonas and Hadid will stay as friends since there was no dramatic conflict between the two celebrities.

Currently, Hadid is preparing for the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show," as reported by E! Online. Meanwhile, Jonas is with his band DNCE traveling around Canada and the United States for their "The Greater Tour Ever Tour."

Before the split, Hadid actually helped Jonas as she served as co-director for the production of DNCE's new music video "Cake By The Ocean."

Despite this, the two were already apart from each other even on Halloween. Hadid went to a New York City party organized by Victoria's Secret supermodel Heidi Klum while Jonas served as the host for a dinner conducted by men's grooming and lifestyle brand Birchbox Man in Los Angeles.

Prior to Jonas and Hadid becoming the "GI Joe" couple, the two had other romantic attachments with equally famous people. Hadid dated pop singer and dancer Cody Simpson while Jonas was rumored to be with model and graphic designer Blanda Eggenschwiler.

In 2010, Jonas became friends with Gigi at the Grammy Awards when the Jonas Brothers' singer inquired if the young model wanted to watch a baseball game. Gigi respectfully declined the offer, but Jonas insisted and asked Gigi's mother, Yolanda Foster, to give his contact number to her daughter.

Hadid, 20, and Jonas, 26, started dating this summer. The "GI Joe" duo received their first entertainment spotlight when they were seen together in a bar at New York City, with Jonas' arm wrapped around Hadid.
