Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Prime Minister of Germany's Bavaria Horst Seehofer held talks in Beijing on Monday to discuss bilateral relations, according to a Xinhua News Agency report.

During the meeting, Li praised the progress in the relations between China and Germany and urged both countries to continue nurturing cooperation in all aspects of governance and development.

Li also touched upon the action for cooperation the two countries signed during the third round of government consultation in October.

The action plan details methods for bilateral cooperation between the two powerful countries.

The Chinese premier told Seehofer that China is making its governance more efficient by giving more responsibilities to local governments, rekindling the market and encouraging entrepreneurship, all in an effort to reform the government.

The official said that China is seeing a renewed motivation for its economic progress and that it is willing to impart with Bavaria its experiences in governance to benefit the links between China and Germany.

Seehofer, meanwhile, praised China's path to progress and the bilateral cooperation it has with the European country.

Seehoer, who also heads the German ruling coalition's Christian Social Union Party, told the Chinese premier that he expects fortified exchanges and collaboration with China in areas of culture, locality and trade.
