An annual pass applicable to more than 800 tourist sites in China next year has been released and made available in different places in Beijing, according to China Daily.
The national tourism pass, sold for 150 yuan ($24), can be used to gain entry to 806 sceneries, museums, parks and amusement parks in 16 provinces and municipalities across the country, the report said.
Multiple entries to most of the tourist spots listed are free, while some of the places offer free single entry and certain discounts.
An entrance fee of more than 50 yuan is required for more than 200 free-entrance places on the list; many widely visited tourist spots, like the Badaling Great Wall and the Ming Tombs, do not impose any fees for single or multiple entries.
Meanwhile, 100 tourist attractions in Beijing and Tianjin are included on the list of destinations with free single and multiple entries.
The annual pass may be availed at more than 20 parks in Beijing, including Yuyuantan Park, Beijing Botanical Garden and the Zhongshan Park.
The pass, which is valid throughout 2015 and does not impose age limits, may also be bought at newspaper stalls and Metro stations.
