"Fifty Shades Darker" fans are torn with regards to Dakota Johnson's recently nomination at the 2015 People's Choice Awards.

According to Yareah, Jonhson is nominated in one category, and the film "Fifty Shades of Grey" is also nominated for best dramatic movie.

However, fans couldn't help but notice that Johnson's co-star Jamie Dornan didn't make it to the final ballot.

Now, fans are wondering why Dornan was snubbed for a nomination when he basically did the same thing that Johnson did.

On the other hand, some fans believe that Johnson was more deserving than Dornan because she showed more emotion for her part.

Meanwhile, "Fifty Shades Darker" will reportedly feature steamier sex scenes between the onscreen couple.

In a recent interview with Elle Magazine, Johnson said that she doesn't mind going all out this time around.

The actress added that she's not really ashamed to do anything. However, the film is screened several times, and some steamier sex scenes may not do the cut.

In other news, "Fifty Shades Darker" director James Foley, E.L. James and the producers of the film have not yet chosen a casting director for the sequel.

This means that fans will still have to wait for a few more months before the next cast members will be revealed.

At present, the roles of Mrs. Robinson, Leila Williams, John Flynn and Jack Hyde have not yet been cast. However, there are rumors that some celebrities are already being eyed for the roles.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will premiere in theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
