The "Super Smash Bros. 4" fighting video games were developed by Sora Ltd. and Bandai Namco Games.

Ever since rumors about Shovel Knight featuring in the next "Super Smash Bros. 4" DLC were dismissed by the character creator, fans are eager to see the game's next characters. On the other hand, since the closing date of fan's votes for Nintendo's special promo last month, the company has not yet given official results of the winners.

Rumors have been rife online about a number of heroes from 3rd party games who will be added to the growing roster of fighters featured in this great popular title.

Up to now, "Super Smash Bros. 4" has an incredible list of more than 50 characters taken from a collection of Nintendo video games and other game developers. The roster will grow bigger with the inclusion of three new fighters if at all latest speculations prove reliable.

The list of fan voted characters include Dixie Kong from "Donkey Kong Country," King K. Rool, "Golden Sun's" Isaac, "Splatoon's" Inklings, and "Metroid's" Ridley, Event Hubs reported. The developer company, Nintendo, as well has a green light from Microsoft to incorporate Banjo-Kazooie among the DLC characters.

Other popular contenders for "Super Smash Bros. 4" next DLC include "Metal Gear Solid" lead character Snake and Star Fox's Wolf, although they have already featured in the game's brawl. On the contrary, Santae Half-Genie Hero was initially reported to have topped the unofficial ballot results carried out by fans as other players even demanded for pop star Britney Spears.

Meanwhile, although Master Herald speculated the addition of Shovel Knight to the game apart from Isaac and Wolf, game developer Yacht Games dismissed the rumors asserting that Shovel Knight will not be part of "Super Smash Bros. 4" DLC just yet.

Created by Bandai Namco and Sora Ltd, "Super Smash Bros. 4" is a massive renowned hit for Nintendo's 3DS and Wii U launched last year.
