"Elder Scrolls 6" has been a long time in the making and game developer Bethesda is yet to even confirm the existence of the game.

For the fans who are eagerly waiting for the release of "Elder Scrolls 6" are in for some sad news. If the latest rumors are to be believed, the game is scheduled to be released in 2018, according to iDigital Times.

In addition, game developer Bethesda has not even confirmed even one detail about the game, according to Parent Herald.

The reason behind the delay of the up coming game is that Bethesda Soft Works wants to focus on releasing the game "Fallout 4" first. In addition, the game developing giant also wants to enhance the upcoming title of "Elder Scrolls," to give an enhanced gaming experience to the players.

"Fallout 4" is a multi-player game, which confirms the fact that Bethesda is currently working on only multi-player games. As, "Elder Scrolls 6" is a single-player game, it may be an additional reason that the game is being put on such a long hold.

Other multi player titles under Bethesda include titles like "Dishonored 2" and "Doom." It is also rumored that Bethesda plans to release some DLC's of "Battle Cry" before focusing on "Elder Scrolls 6."

It was a long time ago that Bethesda released a single-player game. This is also making the players to request the developers that they work on a multi-player mode for "Elder Scrolls 6."

Bethesda has not confirmed whether they would make a multi-player mode for the much-anticipated "Elder Scrolls 6" game or not.
