The top four finalists of "America's Next Top Model" cycle 22 were announced on Nov. 6, Friday, in an episode 13 titled "The Girl Who Took a Shot in the Dark." The fans of "Switched at Birth" actor Nyle DiMarco and Miss Maryland USA 2015 Mame Adjei were happy to find out that the two made it to the top four.
During the challenge for the week, DiMarco, Adjei, Lacey Rogers, Mikey Heverly and Devin Clark were challenged by Kelly Cutrone to come up with pitches for their own brands to launch, which they will present to a panel of entrepreneurs.
DiMarco pitched an app that has videos that teach people how to sign while Adjei got tongue-tied when she pitched a jewelry line. The judges liked the fact that the earlier made a sexy face for it and pointed out that the latter did not connect with them and appeared very nervous.
Rogers pitched a book about her story. Cutrone felt like she is shooting a little too low with pitching the book to be carried in coffee shops in El Dorado, Arkansas, her hometown. Banks advised Rogers to avoid starting her story at the beginning.
Clark complained that the judges seemed to be excessively nit-picking. He pitched a fragrance line, which Banks said has nothing to do with him.
It was Heverly's pitch that the judges loved. He pitched a clothing brand, which sells tank tops and socks together. Banks said she was proud of how he was inspired by their Zappos visit and Cutrone said he represents his brand and his presentation is authentic.
Aside from winning the challenge, Heverly also got the best photo of "ANTM" cycle 22 episode 13. The second to be called out was Adjei followed by Rogers. At the bottom two were DiMarco and Clark, who was eliminated.
