"Basin" is one of the new "Forge" maps coming to "Halo 5: Guardians" in the new update for November.

A big update is coming to "Halo 5: Guardians" this month, and it is designed to give owners of the game more content to play among other things.

According to developer 343 Industries via the Halo Waypoint blog, owners of Halo 5 should expect a new content update this month. This update is expected to bring forth Bing Team Battle in Arena Matchmaking, new vehicular combat and new REQs.

To make this update even more attractive, there will also be four new maps that were designed using Forge and based on other maps. These maps are exclusive only to the Big Team Battle game mode, so do not go in with the expectation of playing them elsewhere.

From what 343 Industries had to say, these maps were created by the top Forgers in the Halo community. Their names are, Warholic, The Fated Fire, The Psycho Duck, Nokyard, and Ducain23. The names of the new maps are Basin, Deadlock, Recurve, and Guillotine.

From what we have seen so far via images on the Halo Waypoint blog, the maps do look like something that could be fun for everyone who enjoys Big Team Battles.

On the matter of aiming in "Halo 5: Guardians."

Since the launch of the game, several players have complained that aiming feels quite different when compared to the beta. Halo 5's lead Sandbox Designer, Chris King, and lead Sandbox Engineer, Scott Sims, talked about the issue.

Both men did not speak of a fix for what some gamers are facing since, according to them, only a small number of players are having problems aiming accurately. Instead, they spoke of the team will add an option in a future update to allow players to fine tune their aim via the controller settings. Furthermore, they also stated that gamers will get used to the control scheme soon enough.
