Venezuela striker Salomón Rondón also plays for the Premier League's West Brom.

Winless squads Bolivia (0-0-2, 0 points) and Venezuela (0-0-2, 0 points) will both have the opportunity to register their first win of the CONMEBOL 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers as they face each other in a Matchday 3 game at the Estadio Hernando Siles in La Paz on Thursday, November 12.

Bolivia dropped their first two games of the competitions to Uruguay and Ecuador respectively. Their last match with the Los Amarillos ended in a 0-2 spanking at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa in Quito, as per Goal.

Julio Cesar Baldivieso's team was able to stay at par with Gustavo Quinteros' men in all of the first half and most of the second. However, they were not able to answer two late second half goals from forwards Ecuadorian Miler Bolaños and Felipe Caicedo to lose the chance of a point in the standings.

Meanwhile, Venezuela has yet to taste victory in the qualifying tourney as well, losing to Paraguay and Brazil in its first two outings.

Their last game against the Seleção was a 1-3 thrashing at the Estádio Castelão in Fortaleza, Brazil last October 13, as reported by ESPN.

Brazilian winger Willian had a brace in the first half right at the first and 42nd minutes before Venezuelan winger Christian Santos scored the lone goal for Noel Sanvicente's squad at the 64th. Canarinho forward Ricardo Oliveira sealed the game with a strike 17 minutes before full time.

In a battle of two unlucky teams, La Vinotinto has the edge with world class players Salomón Rondón of West Brom and Tomás Rincón of Genoa pacing the squad over Bolivia.

The predicted result is a close 1-0 win for Venezuela.

Bolivia starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Vaca; Zenteno, Morales, Marteli, Eguino; Veizaga, Campos, Galindo, Cardozo; Duk, Arce

Venezuela starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Baroja; Vizcarrondo, Amorebieta, Cichero, Rosales; Rincón, Vargas, Seijas, González; Santos, Rondón
