'Attack On Titan' New Game Trailer Reveals Screenshots Of New Characters, 3D Maneuver Gear in Action

Attack On Titan game trailer displays how to use 3D Maneuver Gear against enemies.

Koei Tecmo released a new "Attack On Titan" game trailer and set of screenshots confirming new details of on characters and events.

The video displays new screenshots from the keenly anticipated PlayStation game, in which players guide members of the Survey Corps in their fight against the flesh-eating Titans. Survey Corps use the 3D Maneuver Gear, which allows them to soar through the air and attack weak points for massive damage, Gamespot reported.

The new trailer was developed by Omega Force, the team behind the Dynasty Warrior series and more recently, the Hyrule Warriors. It is based on the first season of the "Attack On Titan" anime, suggesting that it will showcase follow the Dynasty Warriors template of moving between designated points in a large battlefield and taking out enemies. It is likely Titans will serve as boss-type enemies.

Some of the characters included in the new trailer are: Annie Leonheart (voiced by Yu Shimamura), The Titan that ate Eren Yaeger, Ymir (voiced by Saki Fujita), Rico Brzenska (voiced by Michiko Kaiden), and The Titan that ate Mina Carolina.

"Attack On Titan" game trailer shows that gamers can enjoy battles against a wide variety of titans. The 3D Maneuver Gear's blades will dull and gas, incorporating a weapon parts in exchange of element. Encounters with AI allies will allow players to fight together as companions, as well as provide them instruction for various actions, according to Gametsu.

The game will also feature rich training grounds that will act as a tutorial and help beginners become familiar with the game's action elements. Gamers will learn how to use the 3D Maneuver Gear under the guidance of Commander Keith Shadis.

The Japanese video game company says that "Attack On Titan" game will launch this winter in Japan across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, and arrive in 2016 in North America and Europe.
