Manchester United Rumors Central (from L to R): Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Adnan Januzaj, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Manchester United is having a decent season so far, but being good is not good enough for the Old Trafford giants. Plenty of football transfer rumors talk about Louis van Gaal's plan to revamp his scoring options as Wayne Rooney and Memphis Depay continues to struggle at the moment.

Red Devils eye PSG's Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January: Reports were out that United is set "to open talks" with Paris Saint-Germain to acquire the 34-year-old Swede forward. Although advanced in age, Ibrahimovic is still an imposing presence on the field when it comes to goal scoring and so van Gaal could really use him.

Rumors that Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo will transfer to Parc des Princes after this season are getting louder and louder by the moment, which is why Laurent Blanc is willing to let go of the Swedish captain. Verdict: Fact.

Van Gaal keen on getting back Adnan Januzaj to Old Trafford this January: The 63-year-old manager is reportedly planning to bring back Januzaj from his loan with Bundesliga's Borussia Dortmund earlier than expected.

With Rooney and Depay struggling to find goals for the Red Devils this season, van Gaal wants another option behind Anthony Martial up front and 20-year-old Belgian winger seems ready to fit the bill. Verdict: Fact.

United suggested to acquire Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: One of Bundesliga's leading goal scorers, the 26-year-old Gabonese striker is the apple of many Premier League eyes such as Arsene Wenger's Gunners and Jürgen Klopp's Reds.

The Red Devils allegedly are preparing to enter the mix of hopefuls for Aubameyang's services this second half of the season, although there are no indications that he would be van Gaal's primary target this January. Verdict: Fiction.
