The Carolina Panthers (8-0) are looking invincible right now, rolling on an eight-game winning streak to start the 2015 season and winning twelve straight regular-season games since last year. They face the Tennessee Titans (2-6), who welcomed back Marcus Mariota, at the Nissan Stadium on Sunday.
Carolina held off Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, 37-29, at the Bank of America Stadium last Sunday in what seemed like their toughest challenge this season so far, via USA Today.
Cam Newton was again the star of the night, throwing 15-of-30 for 297 yards and had three passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, one interception, and zero sacks for an 83.4 QBR and 104.4 rating, outplaying Rodgers.
Meanwhile, rookie quarterback Mariota played superbly in his first game back from a knee injury, leading the Titans to a 34-28 overtime victory over the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome also last Sunday, as per Yahoo Sports.
The second overall pick of this year's draft out of Oregon passed 28-of-39 for a career-high 371 yards and had four touchdowns with no interceptions and sacks for a high QBR of 94.8 and rating of 135.7.
Mariota will have a hard time doing the same against the Panthers' vaunted defense while Newton will again lead Carolina's unstoppable charge in the offense.
Prediction: Panthers win, 38-14.
