The Miami Heat has a lot to deal with these days and the elephant in the room is about what really happened to Gerald Green.

The former dunk champion missed the Heat's game on November 3 due to an "illness" and had to be transported to the hospital in an ambulance, according to an ESPN report.

However, what raised some suspicion is the Heat's decision to suspend their reserve guard for 2 games for "conduct detrimental to the team."

The suspension took effect on Tuesday's victory over the LA Lakers and Thursday's game vs. the Jazz.

The Heat organization has yet to define what the "conduct" was but there are some testimonies that emerged about the incident that seem raises questions on what "illness" Green was suffering from.

For one thing, Miami Fire and Rescue was called to the condo where Green was staying on November 3. Later on, police confirmed that they were also involved.

From a TMZ update, witnesses mentioned that "Green was acting strange in the lobby of the condo ... screaming at the top of his lungs."

The update also said "several people that there was a huge commotion and it took several people -- including emergency personnel -- to restrain Green and get him on a stretcher and into an ambulance."

What's more, TMZ was told that there were indeed cops who responded and that they instructed "everyone, including residents" to clear the lobby area.

The report also mentioned that one of Green's teammates, who was not identified, was present during the incident and helped Green get into the ambulance.

Along with this information, Green himself issued an apology after the suspension was announced.

"I want to apologize to my family, fans and the Heat organization," Green said in a statement released by the team. "I accept the suspension and look forward to rejoining my teammates this weekend."
