Alanis Morisette performs an updated version of 'Ironic' in The Late Late Show With James Corden.

Alanis Morissette appeared on "The Late Late Show" with host James Corden and performed an updated version of her iconic song "Ironic." The verses include the use of social media apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and more.

The revamped version of the song makes fun of how you reconnect with friends, find your soulmate, get a ride (insert Uber), and handle modern traffic jam despite using Waze.

Morissette was one of the biggest selling female artists back in the 90s. Her album "Jagged Little Pill" sold over 30 million copies worldwide, according to The Guardian.

While the singer looks happier and healthier now, she confessed in an interview that at the peak of her career she was still suffering from PTSD. During that time, she felt that everything about her life was about setting boundaries. Fans wanted to be with her, breaking in her hotel rooms, and jumping on her car.

Corden and Morissette also touched on the ironies of having Netflix but owning DVDs and wondering about not receiving deliveries despite having Amazon. Both wore matching sweaters and red bonnets.

Morissette also muttered about having so many male late-night hosts obviously taking a jab at Corden while all she needs is just one female TV host.

Corden jokingly replied by saying that it's like having your dream duet but Alanis Morissette ends up shouting at you, Rolling Stone reported.

"Jagged Little Pill" celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, making this "Ironic" update all the more timely. Some of the hits in the album include "You Oughta Know," "All I Really Want," "Perfect," "Hand in My Pocket," "You Learn," "Head Over Feet," and "Right Through You."
