Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are set to reprise their roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively.

"Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" will reportedly be filmed back-to-back early next year.

According to Variety, the producers of the film confirmed that they will start with production in 2016. However, no other details have been divulged.

In recent weeks, fans have been urging the new films' director James Foley and book author E.L. James to reveal details about the "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise.

Foley, James, Niall Leonard, Michael De Luca and Daniel Brunetti recently met up to discuss their plans and direction for the film.

At that time, James even shared a photo of their meeting at De Luca's office.

Meanwhile, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are both confirmed to return to the franchise, according to Cosmopolitan.

The two lead stars will reprise their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Just recently, Johnson said that she doesn't have any problems going all out in the movie. In fact, the actress added that she's not ashamed to do anything for the big screen.

However, there are some speculations that Dornan is the one who will have problems with going all out because he doesn't want to do anything beyond what he already did in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Dornan and his wife Amelia Warner are also expecting their second child together and the doting dad wants to preserve his wholesome image.

With this, fans believe that there's a chance "Fifty Shades Darker" might not be a success if Dornan wouldn't agree with Johnson when it comes to going all out.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
