Struggling team Venezuela (0-0-3, 0 points) has not won any games after three match days in the CONMEBOL 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament. The team will next face surprise squad Ecuador (3-0-0, 9 points) who is currently undefeated and at the top of the overall standings in this year's qualifiers.

The Matchday 4 affair will be held at the Estadio Cachamay in Ciudad Guayana in the Bolivar State of Venezuela on November 17, Tuesday.

Venezuela lost all of its first three outings in the tournament since it started last month. Their most recent game was a 2-4 upset in the hands of Bolivia at the Estadio Hernando Siles in La Paz, Bolivia, as reported by the Latin Post.

La Vinotinto strikers Mario Rondón, not Salomón, and Richard José Blanco provided the goals for Noel Sanvicente's squad, but Bolivia scored two more led by La Verde striker Rodrigo Ramallo's double and a goal each from winger Juan Carlos Arce and midfielder Rudy Cardozo.

Meanwhile, Ecuador surprised its opposition by winning all their games in the tourney so far. La Tricolor blasted Argentina 2-0 during their opener then turned back a tough challenge by Bolivia during Matchday 2 with another 2-0 win.

Their last match was a 2-1 victory over an Edinson Cavani-led Uruguay squad at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa in Quito, via Bleacher Report, as Ecuadorian strikers Felipe Caicedo and Fidel Martinez each scored a goal to overcome one from PSG's Cavani at the 49th minute of their match.

Gustavo Quinteros' side is projected to continue their winning run against the struggling Venezuelans on Tuesday even as Sanvicente and his boys will make a fight out of it.

The predicted result is a close win for Ecuador, 2-1.

Venezuela starting lineup (3-5-2 formation): Baroja; Angel, Vargas, Gonzalez; Rincon, Seijas, Lucena, Figuera, Acosta; Blanco, Rondón

Ecuador starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Dominguez; Erazo, Paredes, Ayovi, Achilier; Noboa, Montero, Quiñónez, Bolaños; Caideco, Martinez
