News from the "Doctor Strange" front has martial artist and the actor who played the "mutated" Deadpool from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
Scott Adkins has now been confirmed on his second Marvel movie according to a report from The Wrap. He was recently seen in "The Legend of Hercules" starring Kellan Lutz.
Adkins brings physicality to the cast which indicates that there will still be "old school action." The rest of the cast was heavy on "serious" actors with a cast that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor and recently, Amy Landecker, an Emmy nominee for her role in "Transparent."
Along with the latest casting development, there is news that the set in Nepal has wrapped and the rest of the filming will be done in the UK studios.
This assumption came from the BBC report where Benedict Cumberbatch has been made a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) by the queen herself.
Cumberbatch shared his conversation with the queen.
"[Her Majesty] asked me what I was doing at the moment, and I told her I had finished a three month run at the Barbican, which she knew of," he recounted. "And I told her I had just got back last night from filming in Nepal, Doctor Strange for Marvel, then I'll be going straight into the fourth series of Sherlock. She said: 'Oh, it never stops does it?'"
Based on the "Sherlock" actor's response, he may be staying in the UK and not going back to Nepal for the time being.
"Doctor Strange" release date is on November 4, 2016.
