The Google Nexus 6

Pure Android fans can conveniently avoid the crazy 2015 Black Friday rush and still get their hands on a vanilla Android flagship smartphone for less than $300. But it is not the Huawei-supplied Nexus 6P - it is the 2014 Google star Motorola Nexus 6 that now sells on eBay for only $290.

But why skip the premium-made 6P that reviewers said is buttery smooth with Android 6.0 Marshmallow? Plus the hardware, inside and out, can be simply described as top of the line. Two things are going in favor of the Nexus 6 - same Android experience and great savings.

A quick price comparison of the Nexus 6P and Nexus 6, according to Android Authority, will show that buyers of the latter will get to pocket at least $200 as the 6P is priced $500 and up.

And the phone hardware that Nexus 6 buyers will take home remains competitive. The 5.9-inch screen is AMOLED and the power under the hood is a quad-core Snapdragon 805 chip that spins at top speed of 2.7GHz. RAM support is 3GB while the main snapper is 13MP.

The Nexus 6 eBay package is preinstalled with Marshmallow and as always the case with Google's Nexus products, bloat wares are nearly non-existent (save for a few Motorola apps) and the phone is assured of consistent and on-time arrival of firmware updates that likely will continue for a few more years.

Now if the above details still fail to convince that this brand new Nexus 6 is indeed a steal of a deal, Android Authority notes that when Motorola introduced the device in 2014 the sticker price is more than twice of its current level at $650.

Coming out of the box is a Midnight Blue Nexus 6 bearing model number XT1103, which means, according to Droid Life, that the unlocked will work on most telcos operating in North America, Verizon Wireless including.

The Nexus 6 eBay deal also comes with 2-year warranty, installment option of up to six months and free economy shipping with the estimated time of delivery no later than November 25. That means buyers will be rocking the 2014 Google flagship ahead of Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday 2015.
