‘Star Wars Battlefront’ Season Pass Questionable; Electronic Arts Aware Of PlayStation 4 Issue

"Star Wars Battlefront" DLC pass seemingly offers a lot of content for the price.

The $49.99 "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC pass seemingly offers a lot of content for the price, but the new EA game does not have sufficient primary material and already has update issues for the PlayStation 4.

The season pass for the action, shooter video game consists various features that would surely enhance the experience of players as they traverse the "Star Wars" realm.

Once a player buys the $49.99 season pass, more than 20 pieces of space tech, such as vehicles, weapons and even Star Cards for the Rebels and Imperials, will be provided, according to Forbes.

Aside from this, the season pass would allow players to acquire four new game modes, 16 unique multiplayer maps showing new areas, four additional heroes and villains, an opportunity to use the expansion week two weeks early and a "shoot first" emote.

What makes the season pass unreasonable is the fact that the $60 "Star Wars Battlefront" game is too expensive yet too lacking in content. Moreover, the DLC should charge players for new expansions, but having to pay $49.99 for multiplayer maps and game modes should be offered for free to develop the community.

Even if "Star Wars Battlefront" is a beautiful, immersive game that would likely prove to be valuable for many fans of the franchise, the methods used by Electronic Arts to acquire revenue seem out of place.

Meanwhile, game developer and publisher EA has already provided a solution to the case of players having trouble with playing the game in the PS4 Deluxe and Ultimate Editions by using codes, according to IGN.

As players attempted to access the game by typing in the code, an error appeared and stated that the application being used must be updated first in order to play "Star Wars Battlefront."

While the update has already been released, EA has recommended players still experiencing the issue to restart the PS4 console and reboot the game.

EA's "Star Wars Battlefront" is set to launch on Nov. 17, Tuesday, for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PS4.
